Hell Below Cave (USA - Nouveau Mexique) - Couloir tapissé de concrétions de gypse

Album photos Spéléo USA Nouveau Mexique (ICPM 4, avril 2018)

These pictures were taken in April 2018 during the 4th International Meeting of Cave Photographers (ICPM 4) which took place in Carlsbad, New Mexico. That gave us the opportunity to visit some caves in Carlsbad National Park (Lower Passage and New Mexico in Carlsbad Cavern, Slaughter Canyon Cave), and in the surroundings (Bobcat Cave and Sitting Bull  Cave). Then, we spent another week in the High Guads, where there are many other interesting caves : Hell Below, Cottonwood Cave (Main Passage and Second Parallel), and Cave Tree Cave, all situated within Lincoln National Forest. We would like to thank the organisers of ICPM, Dan Legnini and Peter Jones, as well as Martha and Norman Thompson who organised the High Guads post camp. Let's not forget all the american cavers who volunteered for organising these events and who also guided us and helped us in caves, which allowed us to take pictures in the best possible conditions.
